Zoom Hacks Training Sessions

Are you new to Zoom and trying to figure it all out? Maybe you’ve been on Zoom for a while, but you’re not using the platform to its full potential. If so, I can help!

I’ve been working in Zoom one-on-one and in groups nearly every day for the past two years. Along the way, I’ve learned how to make the Zoom experience more effective, engaging and comfortable for all involved.

Many of you are navigating through a new reality where travel is out and working from home is definitely in. As a result, we’re seeing loads of newcomers to video-conferencing apps. I realized that my knowledge about Zoom might be helpful to some of you, so I’m offering a series of free training calls.

There will be NO SALES PITCH in these sessions. I promise! My goal is simply to share what I’ve learned during the hundreds of hours I’ve logged on Zoom.

In just 45 minutes, we’re going to cover lots of topics, including:

  • How to customize your view. Did you know you can hide yourself on your own view while still allowing others to see you?
  • What to do when your internet is spotty. Did you know you can easily switch to phone audio, even in the middle of a call?
  • How to work in smaller groups without calling in to separate Zoom meetings. Did you know you can put people in pairs or groups for breakout work, and it’s super-easy to do?
  • How to work collaboratively in real-time. Did you know you can share a screen or a whiteboard and have participants mark up that space with text, shapes, colors and more?
  • How to tweak your settings to control who can come into your Zoom room. Did you know you can create a waiting room so attendees of your next meeting don’t crash the one that’s wrapping up?

The brief list above is simply a warm-up, as I’ve got so much more juicy info to share. Join me for a free, fun, fast and interactive session where I’ll teach you everything I know about Zoom and answer your questions to the best of my ability.

Please note – this is NOT a webinar. You will be joining a LIVE Zoom call where you and the other participants will be able to see each other. You will be trying out various features as I explain them, so try to join from the device you use most often for Zoom calls (computer, tablet or phone). Know that you will have more features and functions available when joining from a computer as compared to a phone or tablet.

    Hi Wendy,

Sorry I missed the Zoom Hack Training. Let me know if and when you plan any additional trainings. Hope all is well with you. Love the pineapple patch! Too cold here for tropicals. Take Care Jeanette

  2. i’d like training on zoom for groups – i need to put business people into groups of 8 and have them answer questions, then I need to drift between groups to add additional information to their group discussions
